Summer is the season of Pitta, which contains the properties of fire and water, and can be prone to increasing and moving out of balance with the strong summer sun. Ayurveda as a system seeks to help us maintain our equilibrium so that we can show up, be present, and live into our best self.

Takra 2 Ways

#1:
Ingredients:

1 Cup Organic Full-Fat Yogurt
1/2 Cup- 3/4 Cup Water
2 tsp Cumin Powder
1/2-3/4 tsp Salt
Optional: Pinch of Black Salt (sanchar)

#2:
Ingredients: 
1 Cup Organic Full-Fat Yogurt
1/2 - 3/4 Cup Water
2 tsp Cumin Powder
1 small bunch Mint
1/2 bunch cilantro

Directions:

  • Pour everything into a large mason jar or bowl
  • Use an immersion blender to mix everything up
  • Enjoy after meals to support happy and healthy digestion

Rasa Cleanser

Ingredients: 
10 ounces water
4 ounces pomegranate juice
2 Tbsp chia seeds
1 dropper of chlorophyll
1 Tbsp aloe gell (inner filet)

Directions:

  • Mix everything in a large jar
  • Let the chia seeds soak and plump for at least 4 hours
  • Enjoy 1 bottle of this throughout the day to support healthy summer pitta
