Ayurvedic Treatments: A Holistic Approach
Ayurvedic bodywork and healing, deeply rooted in ancient wisdom, seek to restore balance and harmony within the body through a variety of therapeutic techniques that serve as valuable components of Panchakarma, a comprehensive Ayurvedic detoxification and rejuvenation program. Unlike intense cleansing treatments like purgation or blood purification, which are more suitable for those with robust constitutions, milder therapies can offer significant benefits to a wider range of individuals. Through this immersion, you will be equipped with the most versatile set of Ayurvedic treatments that can be widely applied to address various health concerns, promote digestive health, and purify the body, mind, and consciousness.
Healing Through Touch: The Power of Intention
The secret to the effectiveness of healing touch lies in the intentional transmission of positive thoughts, feelings, and healing energy to the client's organs. Traditional Ayurvedic wisdom recognizes that unresolved emotional stress can accumulate in specific organs, leading to imbalances and discomfort. By addressing these emotional blockages through targeted therapeutic touch, Ayurvedic practitioners can facilitate the release of emotional tension, promote detoxification, and support the body's innate healing mechanisms.
Learn to develop your dhyāna sparsha, meditative touch, to bring functional integrity to these organs. Ayurvedic bodywork can break down the crystals of unresolved emotional stress in the connective tissue - the seat of the subconscious mind - and support their detoxification as well as support cellular intelligence, immunity, and communication.
An Immersive Experience: Beyond the Classroom
Beyond the intensive practical sessions, this program offers a rich and immersive experience that extends beyond the classroom. Engage in social interactions with fellow students, fostering a supportive and collaborative learning environment. Explore the vibrant community of Asheville, a renowned wellness destination, and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the surrounding area. You can also participate in yoga classes at the nearby Asheville Yoga Center, further enhancing your holistic well-being
