Come learn how to live optimally - elevating ourselves, and those

around us - as we dive into the healing art of Ayurveda!

Ayurveda is a natural health and wellness system that originated in India more than 5,000 years ago. The word Ayurveda is derived from the Sanskrit words Ayur, meaning “life”, and Veda, meaning “knowledge” - an ancient healing science centered around harmony and balance.

Universal interconnectedness lies at the heart of Ayurveda, coming to an understanding of our ideal state of balance (prakriti) and the constitutions of which we are composed (doshas) we can begin to discover, and then maintain our own personal balance.

In Ayurveda, we believe that illnesses can arise from a state of imbalance. This imbalance can present in our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual selves and is called vikruti. This can arise as a result of a change in location, our eating habits, the emotional experiences we carry, the change in seasons, or even the various stages of our life. Ayurveda encourages certain lifestyle interventions, therapies, and practices to regain balance between your body, mind, spirit, and environment.

Ayurveda is a true holistic approach to health and wellness, incorporating diet, herbal remedies, massage therapy, yoga, meditation, breath work, and more.

In this 4-week immersion you will come to know the Ayurvedic formula for wellness through techniques and practices that can support you in self-healing by learning to reduce stress, improve digestion, becoming inspired, living consciously, and enjoying more sustainable energy.

This immersion has been designed for those with very little to no understanding of Ayurveda who wish to come to a deeper understanding of the guiding principles enshrined in these ancient practices and philosophies.

"According to Ayurvedic principles, by understanding oneself, by identifying one's own constitution, and by recognizing sources of doshic aggravation, one can not only follow the proper guidelines to cleanse, purify, and prevent disease, but also uplift oneself into a realm of awareness previously unknown."

- Vasant Lad BAM&S, MASc, Founder of The Ayurvedic Institute

Prior to becoming the Dean of Education at the Ayurvedic Institute, Sneha had a remarkable journey as an executive of a thriving hospitality business. Luckily for us, Sneha now focuses all her energy on developing the next generation of Ayurvedic Practitioners and providing thoughtful care for her clients. While practicing as an Ayurvedic Practitioner, Sneha combines her early experience as a Physical Therapist with extensive classroom and clinical study under Vasant Lad in the US and India, Yoga Teacher Certification, and Reiki III Certification. When she has a free moment, Sneha is most often found experimenting with fresh ingredients, applying the deep wisdom of Ayurveda to all her delectable creations.

Mitesh’s passion for Ayurveda was first cultivated while studying to become a certified practitioner under Vasant Lad. An enthusiastic and unyielding seeker of knowledge, Mitesh studied Indian philosophy at the Tattvajnana Vidhyapeeth in India, Jyotish with Hart deFouw, holds a Reiki Level 1 certification, and has undertaken intensive clinical immersion programs with Vasant Lad in India. These days, Mitesh is busy being the Executive Vice President of the Ayurvedic Institute, but before that, he co-founded a highly successful real estate and hospitality company. His zeal for building powerful leaders and creating mindful business cultures overflows into the classrooms he leads with compassion and insight. When not studying, teaching, or practicing, you can find Mitesh playing his bass guitar or enjoying the limitless beauty of nature.
