Prior to studying under Vasant Lad at the Ayurvedic Institute, Beatrice received her bachelor's degree in fine art from the University of the Arts London and later a diploma in medical herbalism from Westminster University in her home country, the UK. She loves bringing in her artistic skills and knowledge of western herbs to inspire and support her clients in her practice of Ayurveda.
Following several years of yoga practice, she began her journey with Ayurveda by attending a retreat at Vaidyagrama healing village in India and subsequently joining the College of Ayurveda UK as a student of Dr Mauroof Athique DAMS, MD, DAc, PhD. She proceeded to study Sanskrit at SOAS, London for two years whilst organizing and catering yoga retreats. She loves to cook nourishing food and enjoys running the monthly Cook-A-Long as part of Ayurprana's Living Wisdom membership.
Beatrice is a graduate of the Ayurvedic Institute and a certified Ayuryoga instructor. She teaches Ayuryoga at ASP1 level and Shamana and for the APS2 programs as well as acting as a supervisor in the student clinic.
What motivates Beatrice is seeing her clients and students come closer to themselves, becoming more at ease and able to remove obstacles to their health and wellbeing through developing their own relationship with the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda. She feels truly blessed to be a student, practitioner and teacher of Ayurveda and Yoga.
