As the founder and director of The Ayurvedic Institute, Vasant Lad has worked tirelessly for the last 40 years to bring the deep insights and transformative power of Ayurveda to the West. His passion for healing has garnered him respect throughout the world, and he is considered the premiere authority on Ayurveda outside of India. His numerous books have been translated into over 20 languages and have sold over 700,000 copies in the US alone. His teachings range from introductory courses in Ayurveda and yoga to advanced clinical pathology immersion programs.
His webinars offer the essence of decades of teaching and clinical practice, providing you with both inspiring theory and rigorous practical application while weaving in his personal spiritual insights.
As the Dean of Education at the Ayurvedic Institute and a practicing Ayurvedic Practitioner, Sneha integrates years of study and practice in healing to provide students with a rigorous foundation in Ayurveda and clients with a comprehensive outlook on healthy living.
Although she had a remarkable journey as an executive of a highly successful hospitality business, she now focuses all her energy on developing the next generation of ayurvedic practitioners and thoughtfully caring for her clients. She combines her early experience as a Physical Therapist with extensive classroom and clinical study under Vasant Lad in the US and India, Yoga Teacher Certification, and Reiki III Certification. She oversees practitioners as they gain clinical experience at the Ayurvedic Institute and serves clients through its Panchakarma program.
When she has a free moment, you will find her experimenting with food ingredients, driven by her passion for applying Ayurvedic principles to nutrition. She believes that food is a powerful vehicle for nurturing and bringing people together.
Currently the Executive Vice President of the Ayurvedic Institute, Mitesh’s passion for Ayurveda was cultivated while studying to become a certified practitioner under Vasant Lad. An unyielding seeker of knowledge, Mitesh studied Indian philosophy at the Tattvajnana Vidhyapeeth in India, Jyotish with Hart deFouw, holds a Reiki Level 1 certification, and has undertaken intension clinical immersion programs with Vasant Lad in India.
Prior to becoming an ayurvedic practitioner, he co-founded a highly successful real estate and hospitality company that grew to manage more than $250M in assets over 15 years. His passion for building powerful leaders and creating mindful and conscious business cultures extends to his compassion and insight in relating to others in the classroom.
When not studying, teaching, or practicing, you will find Mitesh playing his bass guitar or enjoying the limitless beauty of nature.
The state of ill health is a moment to moment happening. Healing is moment to moment balance, bringing awareness to our thoughts, feelings and emotions and how we respond.
- VASANT LAD
I learned of AyurPrana while attending a webinar this summer with Vasant Lad. The organization has been set up to help spread the education of Ayurveda, facilitate online consultations and to provide accessible webinars to those seeking more knowledge about Ayurveda. It could not come at a more optimal time. My experience has been seamless with all interactions of the organization. What a blessing to be able to access direct learning with the legendary Vaidya Vasant Lad. Thank you Vasant Lad and AyurPrana for your selfless service.
