Fall cleanse

Release the excess heat of summer in preparation for the movement of fall.

Summer is the season of Pitta dosha - primarily fire and water elements, it’s the principle of transformation and metabolism. Pitta is hot, sharp, light, liquid, spreading, slightly oily, and has a fleshy smell (yep, you know the one…). Common signs of elevated pitta are anything heat related - burning sensations, inflammation, skin concerns involving redness, itchiness, loose stools, heartburn, waking in the middle of the night, as well as pitta type emotions of anger, irritation, judgment and criticism of self and/or others.
