Let’s practice our pranayama together with Nishita!

Forming a habit takes time and, most of all, practice, but we don’t have to do that all alone! We at AyurPrana believe community is an integral part to all that we do, but especially in the support we can offer each other in developing our practice.

As an exclusive offering for our graduates from the Breath of Life: 21-day Pranayama Immersion we will be providing access to 5 live practice sessions with Nishita Shah through December 2021!

In these sessions you will be able to fine tune your pranayama practice by working together, with guidance and tips from Nishita. And if you can’t make a live session, watch the replay!

Learn how to bring pranayama into your daily routine and integrate breathwork into your yoga or meditation practices! We will even explore Sun Salutations - Surya Namaskar - as a beginner-friendly yoga routine.

For those who studied in our 21-day immersion this is a perfect addition to help maintain, or rediscover your stride, and discover a deeper level to your practice as we gather in community to breathe!

At AyurPrana we see health and wellness as a journey - empowering you, as a member of our community, to live in balance with yourself and the world around you!

Nishita Shah

Nishita’s journey in the study of Ayurveda began when she attended the Ayurvedic Studies Program Level 1. She continued on to complete the Level 2 program as an Ayurvedic Practitioner. She feels truly blessed that Ayurveda fell into her lap at an opportune time. Prior to her studies at the Ayurvedic Institute, she attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She continues to be fascinated by the ways in which her Ayurvedic studies intersect with the field of Psychology. While studying at the Ayurvedic Institute she had the great fortune to learn Ayuryoga with Vasant Lad, BAM&S, MASc. She received a 500-hour Ayuryoga certification and assisted in numerous Yoga Teacher Trainings. In her private practice, prior to joining the faculty at the Ayurvedic Institute, her work has been fueled by a passion for nutrition and yoga. Nishita also finds great beauty in language and holds a deep appreciation for Sanskrit as the mother tongue of all other languages. She is thrilled to bring her love and appreciation for these subjects into the classroom.

Testimonials

I want to thank you both (Nishita and Mitesh) for your magnificent teaching and your dedication to our needs, it has been the most wonderful course! After 20 years of doing other styles of Pranayama, I feel such a difference in my practice and the effects in my life - more energy, more connection to Prana, and so much more… amazing! With deep gratitude to you two magnificent beings, you have been an inspiration.
